My Background
You know when people ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I never had a clear answer. All I knew was that I had a talent for English, loved reading, and always seemed to excel in it. So, I took that passion further with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature at the University of Sheffield. Still not sure what the next step would be, I followed it up with a Master’s in Journalism.
My career started in agencies, where I sharpened my skills in SEO, content marketing, business strategy, and branding. Eventually, I had the opportunity to build my own content marketing team in another agency before moving in-house to manage marketing strategy for an automotive company, handling a significant budget.
Now, after over 11 years of freelancing, I’ve worked with more than 100 brands across various industries—automotive, finance, SaaS, fashion, beauty, legal, and beyond. It’s been an exciting journey, creating meaningful content that connects with audiences and drives results.
Originally from London, I spent half of my life in the North of England, before settling in the beautiful Yorkshire. I’m lucky enough to live near Haworth, the town where the Brontë sisters grew up, which is a source of endless inspiration.
